Lily, Day 14

Thank you so much for your beautiful words last week on sharing Lisa's maternity session.  I am so excited to now share some images from their Newborn Session, with sweet little Lily...

As you know, I am a natural light photographer (unless the days are grey, and then I whip out my lights to become a 'natural' studio light photographer...each are just a beautiful and soft as the other) and I love my neutrals and simplistic style, but who says we can't add a little true nature to that...of course, I had to add those lilies in again as a little surprise for mum and dad.  I hope that you like the little added touch?

Here are a few more from the session...I hope you enjoy looking through.

A Beautiful Moment in Time...Lisa's Maternity Session

Oh how I wish, when pregnant, that I had captured that moment in time.  Many times I have thought it was (yet another) good idea to try again!  We often spoke about it, my husband and I, but I never felt quite 'glowing' more 'blooming'...in fact more blooming than I would have liked!  But what a special time that was, and so much of it spent busying around, not a moment to stand still and take in what was being created in my body.

Please have confidence ladies, we are always so quick to doubt ourselves, but your bodies are amazing, you are amazing, so beautiful in many, many ways.

Lisa booked her Maternity Session together with her Newborn Session and when she arrived on my doorstep, I could see that she was everything that I was not when pregnant.  Not only was she stunning on the outside, most importantly she was beautiful on the inside.  She was genuinely one of the nicest people you can meet.  Like all of us, she was a little apprehensive, but she soon relaxed and we captured some incredible images for her.

At the end of her session, she noticed my lilies and commented on how lovely they were and that she was naming her little girl Lili...well how could I not use that opportunity to create one more image...thank you Lisa, for being amazing and patient...and now a wonderful mummy...

Please take a minute to look through this selection of images from her gallery, I hope that you appreciate and love them as much as I do...and watch this space for her Newborn images next week <3

Sebastien, Day 8

I'm a Cheshire Newborn Photographer, based in Kelsall, Tarporley, so ideally situated between the city of Chester, Nantwich town, Northwich and Winsford, with clients travelling from North Wales and Wilmslow to allow me the privilige of photographing their precious newborns in their early days.  As always, I was over the moon when Sebastien's mummy booked in with me during her pregnancy and particularly so when I realised she lived all the way over in Derby! Ok, so her parents were slightly more local, but I was still so honoured that she would choose to visit me.

Sebastien was 8 days here and Mum loved the simple look that she had seen me create for other new parents and their little ones.   I think that each newborn photographer goes on a journey from when they start out, to find their style and there are absolutely so many styles that I love and many, many photographers whom I adore, near and far.  For me, I'm generally a neutral kinda girl and I think this shows in my newborn images.  All in all, as with all of my amazing fellow photographers, my aim is to create timeless images for you to treasure.

So here is a peek at my (super sleepy) neutral gallery...I hope you love it as much as I do <3

Jacob, Week 6

When a proud new mummy contacts me wishing to have a session, although I recommend Newborn Sessions are done in the first 14 days of babies arrival, I will always try to fit them in as soon as possible, because although the 'window' may have passed, we will never have these moments back in time.  These moments are for capturing and treasuring.  I can't imagine not having met little Jacob and his amazing Mummy some weeks back.  She was such a wonderful, inspiring lady and Jacob was a little dream.

Some kind words from Mum:

We have now received the official photos of Jacob from Samantha D. Photography and we can’t stop looking at them. They are all just beautiful and we are so glad that Samantha caputured the early years for us to treasure as they grow so quickly. If anyone is having or baby, or knows someone who is and wants to give an amazing present, then I would highly recommend this lady, she is just amazingly talented x

Olivia's Sneak Peeks!

It's been so long since I posted on my little blog and I'm so excited to get started again.  Olivia and her lovely Mummy have inspired me!

This adorable little 3 month old came to visit me this week and absolutely made my day with her beautiful beaming face and sparkling eyes...and those legs...oh my goodness, don't get me started on those amazing rolls! You never would have guessed she was 4 weeks early, she was just delightful.

We had such a lovely relaxed session.  At this age, babies still get tired very easily, so we let her have a feed and even a little sleep mid way through...yes we had a sleeping 3 month old...for all of 1 minute, but that's all it takes to get one sleepy image, which I just never can resist, especially with these lashes!

As you know, I love using natural colours and Mum was happy to keep it natural too, and all about baby.  The adorable heart blanket you see here is babies own, a very special gift from Grandma.

I hope you enjoying these sneak peeks! I can't wait to share the rest with Mum and Dad xx
