A Mothers Dream - January 2015

At the beginning of the year, I mentioned I was taking part in a few projects in 2015.  One of those projects is with a lovely bunch of fellow photographers that I have got to know over the last few months.  It is basically our wish as mums to remember to take time for our family and document our special days, in fact, one particular special day each week. 

I have been a bit slow in getting things started so far, as I have been so focused on the business.  But although I've not blogged about it until now, I have been storing the memories and will share them with you now.  I haven't travelled far this month, in fact, you will mostly see my house and garden ;) but who says you can't have lots of fun within the comfort and warmth of your own lovely home.  Also, I am sure I was born for warmer climates, and this cold weather just doesn't sit well with me...however, I promise to travel further afield over the coming weeks and months.  Don't get me wrong, my poor children have not been confined to our four walls, but the camera generally stays at home...perhaps I just need some warm gloves?!

Mr recordings this month are short and sweet, the attention span of my lovely littlest is fairly short, but I won't tire you with the full day of activities.

This is last weeks event...well...you can't go wrong with a game of hide and seek with a 2 year old, who is just learning to count and also learning the control of keeping his hands over his eyes.  Also, I think you'll agree, he is quite a master at the hiding...

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10...coming to get your ready or not! Now where can you be, I can hear some extreme fits of laughter coming from the sofa...but it couldn’t possibly be???.... ;)

Where has the month of January gone already?? I'm so pleased to have been asked to join in with this blog circle, time passes so fast and it is such a fantastic opportunity to create memories of my own family and hopefully we will inspire others along the way.  No matter how small the activities that we do, our children just love to be with us and have us look in their eyes, knowing that we hear what they say xxx

Kate's Maternity Session

Kate came to see me last week have booked for the 1st Year Plan.  I love this plan as it means that mum and dad have a years worth of last memories, from the moment that baby is tucked up inside still, to those curly newborn baby images and again watching baby grow through their first year.  Of course on a selfish level for me, I just love being a part of that and seeing families grow together.   Cheshire Baby Photo Session Cheshire Maternity Photo Session, Maternity photography Chester, Newborn Photography Chester, Newborn Photographer Nantwich, Maternity photograper nantwich

It was such a pleasure to meet Kate, she was 35 weeks pregnant and looking positively glowing as you can see.  I was quite suprised when she arrived, as I remember having 'bloomed' quite a lot by this point! Not only did she look great, but she really was such a beautiful person inside too and I just couldn't be happier for her and husband John on babies imminent arrival.  

I look forward to seeing them both at the Newborn Session for some baby and family photo's.
